There are so many cute activities and ideas out there that deal with reindeer. Several of them are included in the Pinterest board "Reindeer Round Up." There are things from crafts to units to even hairdos! The kids would get a kick out of that!

I love to read books to the class too, especially at this time of year. It find it actually calms them down a little bit. Some of my favorites are The Wild Christmas Reindeer
(by Jan Brett), Olive, the Other Reindeer
, and the nonfiction book called Reindeer! (Planet Discovery Books For Kids). (you can click on any of the titles to see more)
If you love Jan Brett as much as I do, you may be interested in my Jan Brett lapbook pack. It is on sale this week for 50% off, so you can grab it for only $2.50. It includes activities for several of her books, including The Wild Christmas Reindeer.
I also have this cute set of reindeer shape puzzles, thanks to the graphics from Mel of Graphics from the Pond. I love her cute stuff!
So, how do YOU use reindeer in your class? I would love to hear your ideas! Make sure to check out the other ideas from this link up and on the Pinterest board too!
Thanks for linking up, Krista! The Reindeer Shape puzzles are adorable, and you know I love anything Jan Brett. We've had a lot of fun with "Reindeer Week" this week, and now the kids just need to finish their reports. Have a great weekend.
