WILD! Card games AND Giveaway

Have you read some of the newest research that shows how playing games can reinforce skills in the classroom?

“Anyone can improve their classroom by adopting game-based learning strategies. Any lesson that requires practice, feedback, or scaffolding can benefit from the use of game mechanics.” – Robert Duncan, Director of Undergraduate Research at York College

When I read this information a few weeks ago, it really got me thinking.  How can I help teachers and parents make learning more fun for their kiddos?  I started working on my WILD games and have had a lot of fun doing so.  I have already heard some GREAT feedback from teachers using them in their classroom and have even had some requests to make some more.  Kids have SO much fun playing these games that they don't even realize how much they are enforcing their skills.  This card game is played similarly to UNO with kids matching card colors, words, numbers, or pictures (depending on the version).  They even include fun "extras" like Draw 2, Skip, Reverse, and Wild cards.
Here are a few of my versions so far.
Addition 0-9
Short i words
Counting Coins
Coin Identification
Double Digit Addition, no regrouping
Addition 10-20

Subtraction 0-9
Sampler pack (FREE!!)
CVC short U words and pictures

Multiple meaning words and definitions

I already have some more that I am working on.  Look for multiplication, time, more CVC words, beginning word sounds, and even place value to come soon.  Make sure you follow me on Facebook to keep up with my newest products.  What version would YOU like to see?  Enter the Rafflecopter below and you could win your choice of WILD card game, made just for you!

  3. They are such fun! Students can use independently to practice skills that they already have learned, for reinforcement. The beauty of this is that they will be SO excited to practice!!
