Mentor Monday: Summer Professional Read

I can't believe the year is coming to a close and this school year's editions of Mentor Monday are ending.  It has been so fun to link up and learn so much from my bloggy friends!  Thank you, Emily (from The Reading Tutor/OG) for hosting this wonderful series!

The last topic of the 2013-2014 school year is Summer Professional books.  As much as we all like to relax and forget about school for awhile, we also know that for many of us, that only lasts a week or so before we delve into some learning time for ourselves.  This summer, my reading list includes a couple of professional books I thought I would share with you.
ARGHH...matey!  The first one I am planning on reading is Teach Like a Pirate.  I like the philosophy behind it (find your interests and passions and share them with the kids).  To be honest, it is also a smaller book than most of the others, so that of course appeals to me as well!  I like to start the summer with something I know I can finish!  A few of my friends and I are hosting a book study for this book, so if you are interested in following along, order your copy of the book and follow my blog for more information.
A few others I plan on reading:

What is on your summer reading list?  If you have read any of these, I would love to hear your thoughts!
